Kelly Richards a.k.a. Melissa Johnson - Click to Enlarge

Well, wonder woman Kelly Richards, while being spotted all over the United States at the same time, has undergone another miraculous transformation!

Today I received another comment from a reader of my blog pointing to the website shown here to the left. It turns out, Kelly Richards a.k.a. Michelle Richardson, is now Melissa Johnson (For more info on the scam see my posts on this blog).

The text on the website reads (Needless to say, but, as usual, it’s a scam.):

Recession Buster
Working online provides great jobs in stale marketWork At Home Mum Makes £4,397/Month Part-Time
Online News 6 Investigates Online Work at Home Programs…

Have You Ever Thought About Working Online?

Melissa Johnson never thought she would have a job working at home until one day she filled out a simple form online. Before she knew it, she discovered her secret to beating the recession, and being able to provide for her family while at home with her two children.

I read Melissa’s blog last month and decided to feature her story in our local job report. In our phone interview she she told me her amazing story. “I actually make about £3,000-£5,000 a month using the internet. It is enough to comfortably replace my old jobs income, especially considering I only work about 10-15 hours a week from home.

Working online has been a financial windfall for Melissa, who struggled for months to find a decent job during the struggling economy. “I was afraid of losing my job after the recession hit, I needed reliable income, I was not interested in the “get rich quick” scams you see all over the internet. Those are all pyramid scams or stuff where you have to sell to your friends and family. I just needed a legitimate way to earn a living for me and my family. The best part of working online is that I am always home with the kids, I save a lot of money.”

I asked her about how she started her remarkable journey. “It was pretty easy, I filled out a short form and applied for a work at home kit. I got the Kit and within four weeks I was making over £4,000 a month. It’s really simple, I am not a computer whiz, but I can use the internet. I post links that are given to me, I don’t even have to sell anything and nobody has to buy anything. They are constantly recruiting people to post links, you should try it.”

Working online has changed peoples lives overnight. These great companies have been helping people to work from home and give them new jobs. There are plenty of scams on the internet claiming you can make £50,000 a month, but that is exactly what they are scams. From my conversation with Melissa, “I am making a good salary from home, which is amazing, under a year ago I was jobless in a horrible economy. I thank god every day that I filled out that form.”

Quickly, Melissa Johnson was able to use a simple kit to make it out of the recession.

Melissa had never shared her story before, and with her permission, we are putting it public

Step 1
Go to this link, fill out a basic online form and hit submit at The Online Business (click link for automatic reduced price)

Step 2
Follow the directions at The Online Business and set up an account. Then they will give you the website links to post. Start posting those links. They track everything.

Get Paid. You can choose to receive checks or have them deposited directly into your checking account.

Melissa made her first payment after her second week. She continued to learn and get more training from coaches and mentors. We found that the average a typical person that takes action will make to be about £400. With time and dedication anything is possible, there are more than 200 reported millionaires using the same Robert Allen strategies.

@Thomas, I’m using it now and it’s working pretty well actually! I paid a dollar for shipping, got it in a few days, signed up for my account and have been cranking along ever since. My first week I made a whopping £288 and the second week I doubled that then it kinda snowballed to £500 a day! I’m gonna grow this puppy as big as I can. Here’s a screen shot of my stats, my wife is in shock.

Is this for real? I tried one thing and it didn’t pan out. I made about £500 a month but that was 2 years ago. I’m going to give this a shot.

Just a quick notice about this thing. It does work but you have to be able to use a computer at least somewhat. If you can use email, etc. then you’ll be fine.

I just got my first check for £2800.00! How cool is that it took about 2 weeks for me to get the first check.

Does anyone know if you have to have any programs or a certain computer to make this work?

Justin
April 25, 2010 @ 2:02am

Hey Dan, the answer is No. Any computer you have will work, I currently use this system on an old laptop and it works great. You just need the kit that the author named in the article.

Thomas

I’d just like to add my story; I think others would like to hear it. I too was always leery about work at home offers because they always seemed to be scams. But after the recession hit, I was a little frightened. I wanted to have a backup plan just in case. So, I took your advice and got my free kit. It worked like a charm – I was earning money right away! I eventually did get laid off, just as I had feared, but since I had been using the online kit, I had money to fall back on. Now I’m doing better than I had at my job!

Melissa Johnson is a regular mom who was afraid of losing her job. After searching for stable income she started working online. I interviewed her about her amazing story and she revealed her steps for success.

    Hi

I just came across the ad mentioned above, noted it was dated 2009, but all the comments were posted with current dates. I was a little suspicious so did a search….lo and behold I found your article. Thanks for keeping things honest.

    Fran

  2. In my neck of the woods (Ireland), Melissa Johnson is a mom of three from Limerick. This lady certainly gets around.

  3. tiffany A says:

so is this a scam or not? because all the articles I have read seem to say the sameting the lady is making money

  4. Tiffany,
Yes, this is definitely a scam. Please take the time to read the posts plus reader responses on this website, and you will find that Kelly Richards lives all over the United States and, as of lately, even in Great Britain. The character of Kelly Richards does not exist, which also includes that she is not making any money. Check out the bottom of each website that promotes the Kelly Richards scam. In order to protect their scam business from legal actions against them, they openly admit that the website is fabricated for purposes of marketing. In layman’s terms they are lying through their teeth.
    Regards,
    Wilfried

  5. gregw2 says:

    Hello again.

This Kelly Richards is the same scam as the Kevin Hoeffer scam and they are now using Craigslist to find victims.

  6. Charlie says:

The email I received says Kelly lives in my hometown in Florida. Seems like they try to slip the hometown-neighbor type thing to make you feel more personal and comfortable with it.

  7. thommy says:

i did the melissa johnson scam wat do i do??

  8. Robin says:

I live in Kuwait. Here it reads, “Melissa Johnson is a regular mom from Kuwait, 02 who lost her job last year” etc.
Obviously they’re having problems with the unusual country ID…

  9. Tairrance says:

OH SNAPS, LOOK!!! SHE’S FROM MARRERO, LA. TOO…. IM IN THE NEXT TOWN OVER, HOW CONVENIANT. (THIS IS A DAMN SHAME!!!!)

  10. stuart clarke says:

well i saw this article as a pop up whilts trying to load pictures up onto photbucket. i was attracted to it and got as far the credit card details section then thought hang on one minute. if you go into the news daily 7 front page try clicking on weather or the sport – you get directed straight to the rush my order page! i couldnt see an office address or email or contact numbers – nothing of substance to pin these people down. it makes my blood boil that i betg hundreds of thousands of folk have already been duped and i bet it was for more than the quoted $1.95 – do they take a big chunk off your card?

so glad people like you put this info out there otherwise thousands would get sucked into scams like this. anyway if you were thinking of doing this my advice forget it!

  11. Brandon says:

How the he** do these “companys” do this legally?
    IT IS ALL COMPLETELY FALSE!
As soon as I saw she lived in Riverview Fl., where I live, I KNEW it had to be completely fake. This is robbery, pure and simple.
    1. Fake name and location, Meliisa Johnson ( might as well be John Smith)
2.Fake “Offer Expires……” date. Really? The next day! Oh, I must be just in time! Better act fast!
3.Fake responses. They screwed this one up by posting 2 messages that are exactly the same but from different people. Both “Mike” and “Dan” left the same post “…..this could be our answer.”

These people should be sued and shut-down RIGHT NOW!
Every Company or Corporation that is mentioned in these ads should have lawyers all over these thieves.

  12. Brandon says:

Wow, I just read the Disclaimer at the bottom of there fake ad page.
They are admitting to using a deceptive approach to “illustrate” success using the Richard Allen method.

    It’s amazing that you can……
    1. Use fake and fabricated information
    2. Openly lie
    3. Decieve people
    4. Steal there money
    5. and get away with it because of a Disclaimer that basically says ” We are lying to you, this ad is fake, so it’s your fault if you fall for this scam.”

    Wow……

  13. Cheryl says:

After I ordered the kit… (sigh)….I then found this site…I found out my card was not charged the $9.95 shipping fee….(which sometimes it’s 2.97…or even .99)….I was charged a total of $19.95…and if I don’t return the kit within 14 days…. if I even get it…. I will be charged another $39.95….called my bank right away…unfortunately they can’t do anything until it actually posts to my account…(they will dispute the charges on my behalf once it posts..).I went on the BBB accredited link and found the contact number and I called…low and behold it’s a message center….well I left a message…hopefully I can get this resolved quickly and painlessly….but somehow it’ll be painful…I used to think I was an intelligent woman….doing my homework….but apparently not well enough this time…..hope no one else gets duped by this…

  14. justin says:

i saw that kelly lived in my hometown of owensboro,ky so i looked for her on a social sight and of coarse she was not there so i decided to look further into it and found this page THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME A LOAD OF REGRET…..

  15. Anna says:

I just read the ad and did a quick search on it. According to this advert, Melissa Johnson is from ADELAIDE, Australia (my hometown!!) Thank you everyone for taking the time to post a message about your experience. (Hope you get the money back soon Cheryl)

  16. Sheri says:

Yep…she lives in my home town, too. Very sad that crooks resort to this kind of thing, isn’t it?

  17. Cheryl says:

Update…. while I did get a call back from the message center… apparently it’s the wrong one… I needed to find the “landing page”…. the one I first linked too… yeah right…I did receive the package in the mail and the dvd…woo hoo….it was a waste of time… doesn’t explain anything about what this “product” is that you’d be selling… only all these people who have made so much money…..and you only get first names and all these people in these big houses seem to have the same taste in decorators…as all interviewed had same backgrounds….my questions were…what would I be sellling??…how do I sell this mysterious product?….and how much would it cost me in reality…the dvd… the booklet…and the audio you listen too tell you NOTHING!…so as a precaution as not to get charged anymore money…I closed my card and remind myself….I only lost $20….how many people have been taken for lots more?….

  18. Mar says:

Great Job Guys! Keep it up! Are you able to tell if there are any legitimate online jobs that allow you to work from home though. It really is a good idea. I will always keep away from job offers that require that I pay first though.

  19. Joe says:

PEOPLE … THIS IS A SCAM … DO NOT ACCEPT ANY TERMS AND DO NOT GIVE YOUR DEBIT CARD OR BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION OUT. YOU WILL NEVER RECEIVED A CONFIRMATION EMAIL, YOU WILL NEVER RECEIVE ANY LINKS TO ANYTHING, IF YOU CALL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER THEY WILL GIVE YOU A RUN AROUND AND NO RELATIVE INFORMATION LIKE A PHONE NUMBER FOR THE COMPANY OR ADDRESS FOR THE COMPANY AND CLAIM THEY ARE A THIRD PARTY HIRED CUSTOMER SERVICE. ADDITIONALLY AFTER THEY GET YOUR DEBIT CARD INFORMATION, THEY WILL NOT ONLY CHARGE YOU $2.97 US DOLLARS, BUT A WEEK OR TWO LATER DEBIT YOUR ACCOUNT CARD FOR $139.95. IF YOU CALL AND STATE THIS IS AN UNAUTHORIZED DEBIT, THEY SAY THEY WILL CREDIT YOUR ACCOUNT $40.00 TO $70.00 AND SEND YOU A CONFIRMATION EMAIL. THAT NEVER HAPPENS, AND THEY WILL CONTINUE TO CHARGE YOUR ACCOUNT $39.95 PER MONTH. THE ONLY SOLUTION AT THIS POINT IS TO CLAIM YOUR DEBIT CARD STOLEN AND GET A NEW ONE. IF YOU GAVE YOU BANKING INFOMATION, ACCOUNT NUMBER AND ROUTING NUMBER, CLOSE THAT ACCOUNT ASAP AND OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT. THIS IS WHAT THEY HAVE DONE AND BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME YOU SCREW UP AND GET DUPPED BY BAD PEOPLE LIKE THIS AGAIN.

PS, HAS ANYONE GOTTEN ANYTHING FROM DCA? OR MADE A REAL SUCCESS STORY FROM IT, I DON’T THINK SO.

  20. Caroline says:

Hehe strange! I live in Malmoe, Sweden and it said that she lived in L.A. :P But then I looked around and darn… this lady moves a lot ;) It’s a shame it was a scam :( It seemed so real.

  21. Sarah says:

Wow, thank you thank you thank you for posting this! I got as far as the banking info and decided I should look into this further. I would have been SOOO bummed if they would have scammed me like that! Obviously, I need to MAKE money not LOSE it! Thanks again everyone! Sorry to hear about Joe and Cheryl’s misfortune. What goes around comes around and they WILL reap what they sow! God bless you all!

Thanks for this! I live in South Africa & I thought, wow this could be amazing…. But as usual – if it sounds to good to be true, IT IS.

  26. sam says:

saw right through all this b.s.
at first, it seemed legit. then all the general comments on the page. and people, this is the real world, nothing goes that smooth and is that perfect. ya’ll need to wake up. simply googling Kelly Richards gave me the solid proof…duh

  27. geo says:

Liza Munsonn has the same life in Berlin as Melissa Johnson and speaks about a Natasha Reynolds, who also has a same life al melissa Johnson hmmmmmm

  28. Kyle says:

Kelly/Melissa must be the first true world citizen. She is everywhere. She’s made so much money off this she has homes all over the US, Great Britain, Australia, the Middle and Far East…hell she even has property up in Scandanavia! What a life.

These scammers must be making millions from trusting internet users worldwide! I can’t believe nothing can be done to stop them.

Trying to exit out of their website was also a problem (I kept being directed to different pages). I do hope there wasn’t any malicious software I inadvertently let loose on my PC by visiting that site. Make sure your anti-virus software is up to date ya’ll and if you’ve been caught out change your banking details immediately AND protect yourself against identity theft. Working from home is a great idea but let’s do our research first not give away our personal details willy nilly.

  29. Laura says:

OMG!!!! Just been looking at this site! Can’t believe it’s a scam, they’ve done really well making it all look and sound legit!!!!!
Luckily i don’t have available funds today, was gonna check it out and sign up tomorrow! Fortunately i found this site first. Saved me a lot of money (which i dont have) and a lot of embarrasment!

Thanks for the warning you saved me!!!!!

  30. @Laura:
You are very welcome! Greetings to the UK!

  31. rose says:

Hey, now i am in the russia. Who is experience of job with it(him). You can in detail say.How i accept to do? 32. Sandy says:

i was checking this out myself but looked up kelly richards and found this page, to those of you who have been scammed by this ad, have lost money to this site, report them to the United States Government here: http://www.justice.gov/criminal/fraud/internet/#howtoreport
i wasn’t pulled into this scam but only bec i found your comments here, good luck and report them, this is apparently an international scam. by advertising on the internet, they are in violation of us law and possibly international law.

  33. Juleen says:

Hi there can anyone tell me about the Home Cash Flow Solution? Is it a scam?

  34. Panayotis says:

I can’t believe you guys. You fall for a scam that tells you that you will make $6,000 a month part time and without any skill? People without skill cost $100 to $1000 for full time depending on the country, you know that, right?

  35. Pingster says:

It doesn’t even matter what the story or comments say. Scroll down a bit, small print is just too funny to be true. Love this part:

“This website, and any page on the website, is based loosely off a true story, but has been modified in multiple ways including, but not limited to: the story, the photos, and the comments.”

Even if you were to believe that the story was true, the implication that you could find 20 different people posting sensible and positive messages in a day is just outrageous. And all using their real names properly spelled. And half of them repeat themselves.

  36. Jenny says:

Well, Melissa must be getting wise to living close to her next victims, as I am on the East coast and she supposedly lives in Sacramento, CA. Anyway I found this thru a proud parent facebook page. Unfortunately I looked into this a day too late. Guessing I have to close my bank account now. As an out of work mom of 2 looking for some extra money i fell for it. Then I was up all night wondering what did I get myself into and found this page. Hopefully it will help other people who are smart enough to do research before signing up, wish I had done so.

  37. g.k.jani says:

I accidentally came across Mrs. kelly’s wesite today with almost the same content as shown above. the only difference this time was she has given
    Brooklyn,N.Y. as her recent address

  38. Honey says:

”She” lives in Bucharest Romania ! ! ! Unfortunately I give them my details, address and account but by fortune, I do not have enough money on it ! I hope they will give up.
But you, the Americans you may complain at Department of Justice, as American citizen, as there they have contact address for any fraud activity.

  39. Su says:
