Sarah Palin is a former Alaska governor. She came to Iowa on Friday night. She left few of her opponents unscathed. She sharply attacked President Obama. And the Democrats. She denounced the news media. She pointedly called on establishment Republicans. Get over your losses in the primaries. Unite for the November elections.

Palin’s visit to Iowa stirred speculation. It’s about a possible 2012 presidential run. But she kept her focus. On the midterm elections. She calls for a citizen revolt. Against the Obama agenda.

The voters will stop these leftist policies. The voters will stop this fundamental transformation of America. It’s not good for America. It’s the patriots who will restore America.

It is time for renewal. And a restoration of constitutional principles. And it may take some renegades going rogue.

Obama thinks the answer is another federal program. They think America’s future should be dictated. From the top down. Not the bottom up. They have faith in big government. We have faith in the people.

She found agreement with Obama. It’s on some of the tax cuts. She particularly liked those ideas. They were in the McCain-Palin platform in 2008.

She turned to foreign affairs. She accused Obama of catering to America’s enemies. He unnecessarily criticizes U.S. allies. That’s not foreign policy. That’s foolish.

The time for choosing is near. We need to take away the gavel from Pelosi. And Reid. And stop the Obama agenda. Make government that respects the will of the people. And the wisdom of the people. Then it’s time to unite.

Primary voters spoke. Listen to the people. Respect their will.

Palin also criticized the media. She called on Republicans. Hold the press accountable. They’re making things up. They’re not telling the truth.
