Ronnie Massey - Author, Crimson Dawn

Ronnie Massey is the author of Crimson Dawn – Book One of the Darklife Saga.

Hey everyone.  I hope that everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day.  I’ve been house hunting, packing, and moving for the last few weeks, so everything has been kind of haywire for me.  I’m dropping by to let you know that a new interview, conducted by one Ms. Blak Rayne, is online, and to give a few updates on Black Moon Rising, the sequel to Crimson Dawn.

First the updates.  I’ve completed the first round of re-writes and Black Moon Rising, is in the hands of two beta readers.  Once I get some feedback from my readers, I will go over the manuscript one more time.  The finished line for Book II of my Darklife Saga is getting closer and closer.  While I’m waiting for the readers to finish with the drafts, I’ve been working on re-writes for another DarkWorld novel titled, Ascension: Wolves of Goose Creek.

Ascension is my doorway into the lives of the werewolves that populate my DarkWorld.  Once I get done with the re-writes I will post a larger piece about Still Waters, my protagonist and reluctant alpha, from the book.  But, if you don’t want to wait a week for the post, you can check out a previous post titled Building My DarkWorld, in which I give a little info about the direction that the book takes.  http://frogenyozurt.com/2011/11/building-my-darkworld/

Now, on to the interview.  Fellow author Blak Rayne, was wonderful enough to showcase other authors on her website, in the form of interviews.  I was one of the fortunate authors.  Here is a small portion of the interview.

Where and/or how do you find the greatest inspiration?
I’m an avid reader, and love the paranormal and fantasy genres so many ideas have come from my thinking about particular authors storylines and wondering how I would have written a particular creature or paranormal race.  I also like folklore and mythology, so lots of idea’s have sprang from those subjects.  I haven’t tackled Greek and Roman mythology; just Egyptian, but it’s coming.
To read the remainder of the interview, head over to Blak Rayne’s blog.
To read more about Crimson Dawn, Black Moon Rising, or any of my other titles, mosey on over to my website: http://www.ronniemassey.com/, or you can also check out my previous post here at http://frogenyozurt.com/.
