The Fourth of July

On July 5, 2011, in Ariel Ceylan, Blogging, Guest Writers, History, Political Comments, Uncategorized, by Ariel Ceylan

The Fourth of July is America’s celebration of independence, no?  I think that initially, this was the occasion for the event, however, these past few years have shown this concept not to be the case.  Oftener than not, the fourth of July has turned into an excuse to have a fete. It’s an excuse to [...]

WordPress Blogging – Annoying Blank Lines In Posts Or Pages

On June 16, 2011, in Blogging, Professional Blogging, WordPress, by Wilfried F. Voss

On June 9, 2011, in Ariel Ceylan, Blogging, Business, Entertainment, Guest Writers, by Ariel Ceylan

How many of you have heard it said that geeks will rule the world? I certainly heard this growing up. The moral of this story is to not be mean to geeks and to not take advantage of their intelligences. However, my experience with American youth is that geeks might not rule the world after all.

Sick And Tired Of BlueHost.Com – The Problem With Shared Server Hosting

On March 20, 2011, in Blogging, Blogging Aspects, Professional Blogging, WordPress Tips, by Wilfried F. Voss

BlueHost.Com provides “shared server hosting,” meaning you share a server with a number of other people and businesses. Nothing wrong with that… as long as you have a small website (which FrogenYozurt.Com isn’t anymore), and you don’t share the server box with users utilizing an inordinate amount of system resources, and that’s exactly what happened to FrogenYozurt.Com.

Finding a Place to Write

One of the challenges I find while trying to write is finding the proper location to engage in the activity. When I’m at my college, I have so many options ranging from empty classrooms to department libraries to the student union.  All I have to do is find a room that no one else is [...]
